P1728 -On a F 250 7.3 powerstroke

Pulled code P1728. Motor runs great but transmission seems to slam into gears.

P1728 Transmission slippage detected

This is more of a worn transmission condition , as a result you will have no TCC (torque convertor clutch ) operation, always inspect the driveshaft, as this condition can blow it apart at the u-joint
