P0605 Volkswagen - 1998 jetta TDI /1.9

Question

the engine light on my1998 Volkswagen JETTA TDI 1.9 l and fell in the inspection ;and show the obd code PO 605 internal control module ROM test error , do I have to replace the computer ,and how to disconnect ? Thanks
