P02E4 Ford -

Question

Ford Mondeo Year 2008 2.2: engine looses power, management light comes on. sometimes cuts out all together

called AA, code PO2E4 diesel intake airflow control stuck open; he sprayed a release agent into the throttle body, seemed ok

today the same thing happened but got the car back to my own repairer, this time the code was PO2E8 refer to manufacturers vehicle service manual;

while under the bonnet it was noticed that the fuel supply from the filter to the pump was saturated with air (this is a sealed unit)

the filter was changed a few months ago (very similar symptoms)

my repairer can't locate these fault codes
