P0344 Camshaft position sensor intermittent

Some of the causes of why this codes set are , loss of 5 volt supply circuit to the camshaft position sensor, camshaft psoition sensor itself, camshaft postion sensor shorted,This can also come from a worn timing belt, In most cases a worn timing belt will code cam and crank correlation.but it doesnt have to code up.The most probable cause and condition of your vehicle is a loss of 5 volt reference, which affects both cam sensor and crank sensor, P0344 is a common code with Dodge / Chrysler where the ECM is at fault. For now replace the ASD (automatic shut down)  relay, and see if that helps which is located in the engine fuse relay box
