About how much does the P0464 cost and about how much would it be to fix it? Is it self fixable?

My car is a 2000 Nissan Sentra I just need a way to fix it asap. I don't even want to drive my car. Afraid of just running out of gas on the highway. How many miles should I put more gas in if I put 10.00 at $3.29 a gallon? I've been letting it go to 100 miles, but I also had it parked for three days. Please help!!

The P0464 cod is for the fuel level sensor. The price depends on the shop, but ti cost around 1.0 hours of labor and the parts is around $100.
