It's the cooling fan clutch is faulty will it cause a p0128 error code on a 2007 Chevy Colorado

HI there,

This would not normally cause this type of code. The code is for the engine coolant temp sensor. That being said, if the truck is overheating it could cause the ECT code, but normally it's just the temp sensor or the wiring for the temp sensor to the computer.
