My 2000 Saab 9-5 3 litre 6 cylinder turbo check engine light came on during a long trip at higher elevations. Engine was hesitating and stumbling. Codes came up P0030 and P1171. Can you please tell me what these codes mean and the possible causes? Thanks

P0030 Heated oxygensensor bank 1 sensor 1

P1171 Short fuel trim. Max value , air/fuel too lean

P1171 may even have your vehicle stall out, What may have cause this stumble and rough idle is the MAF (mass air flow) sensor, which may have been reading incorrectly.A faulty MAF can also cause P0030 to code up
