P2714 Clutch pressure control solenoid stuck off

This is a very common code failure, It should be accompanied by TFT (transmission fluid temperature sensor) and TFP (transmission fluid pressure switch) When this failure occurs it usually at a stop and when acclelerating there is no gear engagement, You can return it back to normal state by turning off the vehicle and restart, but this is only good for a while. Your solution is to replace the Pressure control solenoid, and TFP

Reynaldo Thank you for your time and getting back to me on this , I just got this truck about 2 mos ago and barely have 1k miles on it. it runs and shifts fine with nothing hooked on to it, but i just got a 5th wheel trailer at 7700 lbs max and want to pull it with this truck. I have the extended warranty on it but its still cost me a $100.  every time I take it in.2nd time in the shop. i really don't know if I should take it back for a trade in or what....   I got up on a side of a mountain and the transmission stopped working 220 deg transmission temp and engine temp was normal @210deg , cooled it down and it seemed to work fine came down the mountain and tried a less steep grade and did the same thing at a lower temp 210 deg so much for vacation, came back home ran just fine all the way took it in to th shop.. thank you for your help, hope they fix it this time

Another problem with this transmission beside the drive shaft slip yoke are The A/T low power hesitation where it is difficult to obtain a transmission downshift and is more pronounced in high temperature which further reduces the engines power the solution is to have the ECM and TCM reprogrammed. Bulletin number 07-06-04-034. This applies to your vehicle
