P0193 code on 2005 Ford Mustang V-6, what is the cause?

The car starts and runs but check engine light is on, and is throwing one code, P0193 fuel rail pressure high input. What is the cause for the code?

check the fuel pressure first it should be around 40psi

if the pressure is fine, replace the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor

possuble causes:

- Low or no fuel

- Faulty Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor harness is open or shorted
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Fuel Pump
