P0645 dodge - do i need this relay

the ac don't work and the compressor makes a bad nosie it don't make it with the fuse out so do I need this relay in the car will it harm the van in any way if it does not have it

Vehicle: 2003 dodge grand caravan sport

The relay is for the a/c compressor, it should not harm anything if you have it pulled out.
