if the knock sensor is on can it give u tranny problem mine wont sift to 4 gear (automatic) one tranmissplaces says yea the other no please help and loss of power

Yes, alot of toyota's have this. When the Knock sensor code comes on, it will put the ECU in fail safe mode and it wont go into overdrive.

you will have to replace the knock sensor and the knock sensor harness.
