How to fix the P0400 code on a Suzuki Esteem 1997

P0400 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) malfunction

This is for EGR which means it is not functioning, the purpose of the EGR is to reduce Nox.By reintroducing exhaust gases  into the intake .The fix is to find whats preventing it from happening.This can be from the vacuum hose to the EGR transducer being disconnected to a failed EGR transnsducer,And even a plugged EGR port.
