I have 05 crown vic with code p0106 and it had a knocking coming from intake

I replaced the mass air flo sensor and still same dreaded knocking

We'll after replacing intake manifold clean egr and clean all fuel injectors replaced spark plugs oil change air filter removed driver side valve cover found a valve spring broken that's why it looks like it was coming from under the intake manifold on cylinder number 6. I am hoping this helps others.
