P1073 Volkswagen -

Question

What is the P1073 code for. I changed my back right o2 sensor last year. Do these burn out so quick. Then I'm getting told it can be fuel injection or few other things. Is there a way we can narrow this down??

P0173 Fuel trim malfunction bank 2

The 02 sensor may not even be at fault, There is a known problem with the ignition coil which will not cause rough idle or even engine stalling, TSB 0112-04, You can also do a MAF (mass air flow) cleaning, Maf does affect the fuel trim but on both sides, and on VW it ususally code on one side.
