THEY GAVE ME CODE P0573 THEY SAID IT COULD BE Brake Switch Circuit 1 High Voltage code WHAT DOES THIS CODE HAVE TO DO WITH THE TRANSMISSION NOT GETTING THE FIRST GEAR?

P0573 Brake light switch circuit high

Your brake light switch has nothing to do about getting into first gear, it used for stop lights, TCC (torque convertor clutch circuit) and cruise control. Could they have read the code wrong ? A P0563 (system voltage high) will affect transmission operation.
