P1661 Ford - 03 ford ranger

2003 ford ranger fx4 level 2
130k on body an motor, 30k on tranny
had a previous salvage title for water damage but i have been slowly fixing it up over the years. check engine light has been on ever since i had the truck so i went to get it scanned at autozone and it came out to be P1661. Guy said it was some sort of battery or ground code but i am at a loss. id like to sell the truck but i need to get this fixed first. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank ya
