hi having problems engine starts then dies thinking fuel issue. pump works on start then goes off could this be a oil pressure sensor problem and if I disconect it will this give the correct signal to the fuel pump relay ( checked relay it works) I am in vanuatu with no chevrolet garage or any garage for that matter have volt metre and tools not much else thanks Torq

P0406 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) sensor "A" circuit high

The EGR is not the problem for your no start, But yes this can be the oil pressure switch for the fuel pump, If you jump the fuel pump relay and the engine starts and stays running, then its the oil switch if it doesnt , what can also do this no start is the fuel pump solenoid driver,for the fuel injection pump,For now I am going with popular failures
