P0741 Acura - do you need a replacement transmission is this case?

Vehicle: 2004 Acura MDX 3.5

I spoke with a Acura tech and he said it might just be a solenoid, but there are some tests that need to be performed. If the transmission is shifting hard then the tranny might be bad, if its not shifting hard it might just be a solenoid. Take it to a transmission specialist and have them check it out.
