P0459 Volkswagen - EVAP System Purge Control Solenoid High

My dummy light came on my Volkswagon with the code P0459. What is the repair for this, and is this something that I can do, or will a mechanic be needed? I have a decent working knowledge of cars.

P0459 Evaporative emission system purge control valve circuit high

When ever you get a circuit high voltage , this represent a disconnection this can be from the harness to the device itself, or even the ECM ,When it is circuit high voltage is given and the expected voltage drop is not there , This is what the ECM does it looks for open shorts and ground, P0459 is a open circuit, This can be from the solenoid itself, or  the harness , Use your under hood emission diagram for the location it should be in the engine compartment .
