I have a Nissan sentra 1.8s and I I got a code p0447 read on the car when I got the part vapor canister vent valve and tired to change it it has no hose to it why is that does it suppose to

Vehicle: nissan sentra 2006 1.8s

It has to connect to the EVAP canister, look and see if anything else is missing a hose.
