P1485 - Nissan Qashqai

Question

I had the 'enginer malfunction lifht' illuminate a couple of times last week and when a mechanic (not Nissan) used his diagnostic equipment it showed up error code P1485.
By searching the internet, I came up with 'EGRV circuit malfunction'.
Is this correct and what does it mean?
