Hi there,

When this code shows up on only one bank on the engine, there are a few possible causes. First, check for intake manifold gasket leaks, if there aren't any, then you really need to be able to look at the O2 sensor voltages to determine if one has failed and is causing the lean mix. I have also seen timing cause this as well as an engine that has very high miles and it could be carbon on the valves.
