2007 Dodge Avenger withe engine code P1204

Question

Lightning bolt and check engine light come on; RPMs rev up when gas pushed vehicle will not go. Have to stop and restart the car then the lights go off and the vehicle runs fine for a short time. The error code given was. P1204. Any solutions would be appreciated.

P1204 Injector #4 open or shorted

The lighting bolt picture that show is a waring indicator of the electronic throttle control (ETC) The reason it appears is due to injector # 4 not firing, and your throttle goes to limp mode to prevent damages,The solution is to replace the injecotr causing the problem before if effects the PCM and damages the PCM also.
