I have a fault code p0401 on my Suzuki grand vitara

Hi there,

This code stands for insufficient egr flow. This can be caused by several things. A faulty EGR valve, egr solenoid, vacuum line to the solenoid or the egr and a blocked egr port. All of these items need to be checked prior to putting a new egr on the car.
