codes, P0122 and P0731what do you think?

Question

Car is coming up with those two codes. Has an issue going into 1st gear for a second and then pow, feels like getting rear ended and goes into gear. Doesn't do this all the time which is weird. Mostly is smooth. Did need 2&1/2 quarts of trans fluid. A couple days later and does it again, like I said, not always, but usually after the freeway trip into town. Need opinions. Please help.

The P0122 code is for the throttle position sensor. If the TPS is reading wrong it can affect the transmission. The transmission uses inputs from the TPS to know what gear it should be in. I would repair the TPS issue, then clear the codes and drive the car. If the code for the transmission returns, then it's likely there is a problem with the transmission itself.
