Why do I get the OBD code P0172 on my Hyundai Elantra?

Hi there,

Usually this code is a result of a faulty O2 sensor. You can also get it if the engine isn't running right, has a misfire or needs new spark plugs. On occasion a leaking fuel injector can also cause it.
