Do you need to recalibrate the tcm if change out with another used one.

Yes you have to reset the adaptive values, provided you have the correct TCM installed, to reset the adaptive value a dealer grade scan tool has to be used, you can also do a static sift relearn, shift in nuetral for three seconds shift N to D for 2 seconds repeat 3 to 5 times unlil there is no N to D shock, then you go to N to R to 2 seconds repeat 3- 5 times until there is no N to R shock.
