con the camshaft position sensor keep my car from starting,or would it be the ckp sensor?

my car shut off on me while i was driving and want start back up.i have a trouble code that reads po340,which told me i had a bad circuit at the camshaft position sensor so i replaced the sensor and my car still want start.

P0340 is the camshaft position sensor, your vehicle will be able start even with this code, P0340 can also code up due to excessive cranking, Check the timing belt , just peek through the cover at the valve cover,make sure it is intack,a broken timing belt will also code up P0340
