If the input turbine censor is faulty will it prevent the engine from starting

car starts and shuts off and the code said the the input turbine censor

Hi there,

This sensor should not prevent the engine from starting. This will cause funny shift patterns but as far as it starting, it should not be a factor. I there is an issue with the torque converter it may cause this.
