I'm getting the code P0720 on my 2007 Ford F150 4.6L and the transmission is not shifting. What could be the problem?

What the ECM does is look for open, short, grounds and rationality, P0720 will result in a harsh shift or abnormal shift, if this is the sensor, P0720 more than likely appears due to an internal mechanical transmission problem.
