P0430 LEXUS -

Question

I have a P0430 Bank 2 Code and a P0505 Codes showing. the Check engine light is on solid as well as the Traction Control light is flashing. with this additional information does this narrow the issues ?

P0505 Idle speed control system malfunction

When the CK ENG LT comes on , ABS and traction control are disabled, this is for safety reason, With P0430 this is a degraded catalytic, convertor, they do degrade from use and mileage, With P0505 this is the ISC (idle speed control) the ISC controls the amount of air that passes thru the throttle valve which control idle  The ECM has a target that the ISC needs to reach ,if it cannot reach the target RPM you code up P0505, You can do a throttle body cleaning, for P0505
