the truck shuts off after idleing for about an hour to two

Our trucks are used to run carpet cleaning truck mounts, we use a PTO to do so, so the truck is on high idle during the cleaning process usually about an hour to two, sometimes longer. as soon as the pto is turned off the engine shuts off. we have to pump the fuel filter and start it at least 4 times before it finally stays on

Can you get the trouble code? And are you enabling  the high speed idle? i , You should be able to enable and disable high idle speed manually  To enable or disable high idle system performance use this,   .Ignition on engine off ,press the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold down,while you are holding down the acelerator pedal down, press the brake pedal down 3 times within 8 seconds,release the accerator pedal and start the engine,The idle should be 1200 RPM to 1500 RPM, You can disable this by pressing the clutch or brake pedal or the throttle.
