P0720 is a very common on the Hyundai, the problem usually shows up in 3rd and 4th gear, usually this code is related to a internal failed transmission, The best way to trouble shoot this circuit is disconnect the harness ,with the ignition on engine off, of the 3 wires you should measure battery voltage, on one of the other wire there should be 5volts and on the other ground.(especially ground) then go from there, P0720 also shows up if you have a engine performance problem. an example is a slip timing belt, do you have any other codes beside P0720?
