No code but or trouble light but closely related to this thread. AC very cold at speed. No AC at idle. With hood up and AC on condenser fan not running. Remove relay and jump contacts and fan runs indefinitely. Reinsert relay and fan runs for several seconds until relay drops out. Substitute another relay and same thing. So now I'm behind the relay. Could it be low pressure with no other indication and very cold at speed or a bad pressure switch or ECM. How do you release that pressure switch connector? I squeezed every which way with no luck. Hyundai's on line service manuals lists super low values for the switch's operating range. Are these values with AC on or off? I've looked every where and get any solid info. Any help GREATLY appreciated. Thanks. Jeff

You are on the right track, The low-pressure switch is a 3 wire, it has a sensor ground, 5-volt sensor supply, A/C analog pressure, What the A/C pressure switch control are idle control, cooling fan control, A/C compressor. If you jump the relay, you bypass the A/C control module, The way to truly troubleshoot this situation is with an A/C gauge reading on the low side and monitor the A/C analog output voltage, there are two players that control the a/c at idle the pressure switch which does not have to code up if faulty or the a/c control module. To remove the a/c pressure switch you will see a tab you press down this lift up the ock tab and release the connection.
