Question

If a bad fuel temp sensor will keep my car from starting it ran fine and than just died.this had happened maybe 2= 3 times would have car towed how and would start back up drive a while and die again while I was driving.now that all happened and now my car will turn over but not start.any info....please and thank u

No, a bad fuel temperature sensor will not cause the engine to die. You should make sure there is fuel in the fuel tank, even if the gauge shows that there is fuel in it.

Thank you for your reply.I have gas In the car.the last few days my car will start,idle and run fine.when it gets hotter in the day,since I live in FL,it WI just start to die.I can feel it in the pedal and see the revs go down.it had just died on the highway.had it flatbeded  home and 5mins later car would start and run good.today I started drive about 5mins and it did the same stalling and loss of power.got it home and it never started again.

Also I went and checked all fuses and relays.reset the ecm.still nothing.tonight maybe a hr ago I started it ran and Idled fine,put it in reverse to back up my driveway and ya drove up and 3mins later it stalled dead again and rolled to a stop. Idk I pulled a p0183 code for fuel temp sensor.also have codes for o2 sensor bank1 and heated o2 bank 2 but I don't see the o2 sensors to be at fault.them codes have been on for a yr,for the o2 sensors.maybe crank shaft sensor or I thought cam position sensor.loss for thought after the last few days.I hate going to the dealership but they usually get things done.I had paid 1,800,$$ before I found out my car wouldn't start over a 20$ relay for the ECM. So any other comments would really help.and idk if I mentioned if my car was a 2002 infiniti i35 3.5 v6 thanks again..
