Will the intake air temperature sensor or bad wiring harness cause the both cooling fans not to run?

Vehicle: 2002 Buick Century 3.1 v6

P1111 Intake air temperature sensor circuit high

The intake air temperature sensor will not cause both cooling fan to be inoperative. What can cause the cooling fan to not turn on are , the radiator cooling fan temperature sensor/switch.radiator fan motor relay.,and also the cooling fan fuse.
