Truck was idling and fuel was getting low (approx. 1/8 of a tank). Had pulled a trailer about 30 miles and switched the engine off, all was well at that time. Started engine and didn't notice the engine light on at this time, only after launching a boat that was on an incline. Got back in the truck and noticed the check engine light on. Returned home and checked the codes and found 2, (P0690 and P2635) tried to clear them but could not remove (or threw a code P2635 prior to engine starting.) Truck has 108,000 miles on it and never have changed the fuel filters. Would that be the first thing to try? And on the P0690 I am not sure what to try first.

Thanks

you probly got water in the fuel pump driver module mounted above the spare tire if it still runs you may be lucky enough to remove it and split the case dry it out and reseal it with rtv.  i have seen several get wet from the silicone seal breaking
