P0733 DODGE -

Question

2009 Dodge Caravan code P0733 appears on my reader.
The transmission at times will not shift into a higher or struggles to get into a higher gear. This is intermitten does not happen all the time. Checked transmission fluid looks good. Would clearing the code(resetting) help since this is an intermitten occurance?

P0733 Gear ratio error in 3rd gear

If this is a intermittent condition then the speed sensor, input and output sensor should be inspected for proper operation, Yes clearing the code does reset the adaptive strategy,But once its learned the problem begins
