P1423 - Toyota Camry Hybrid

Question

My 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid, has Engine light on, checked for CBD2 Codes P1423, but on the scanner deviced shows no error for that make.

Hi there, My 2009 hibryd also showed Codes P1423. My brothers scanner said something like Emmision bla bla bla . . . checked online, people were talking about loose gas cap. Checked the cap and there it was, pretty loose. Engine light hasn't come  on after resetting. I was ready to spend few hundred $$. Check your cap. Good luck.

I went to local Advanced Auto Part they said P1423 error code, I took it to Toyota dealer and they said never take car there they are wrong etc may break other stuff so I decided to took it to another Toyota dealer and didn't say about that code,they said it's error P1423 and it will cost me $97 to replace the fuel cap, they won't change $114 diag fee..

In order to save $100 bucks I should have just replaced the fuel cap for $4.95 and drive for another 1k mile to see if that light comes back!..
