Replaced motor in 98 jeep cherokee with 4.0 motor and now no 5 volt reference from pcm. Unpluggged all the sensors and still no signal. There is 2 different 5 volt signals from pcm. One for all sensors and one for vehicle speed sensor. I have neither one. un did the wires in harnesses and found 2 broken from engine hitting harness but still no signal. Any ideas???

If you have ASD power and power at the ignition coil, check to see if the anti-theft is active, a active ant theft will interrupt the 5 volts reference
