Question

i am showing codes of p2178 and p2188 on a 2005 mazda mx6 with a 4 cyc.
were do i start next after hearing this information what can i ntest and what can i not the dealer said something about a leaking injector but saying can test, my thing is how do they test for it if it leaking how do they test for and tell you it is bad.

P2178 and 2188  is running rich at idle, If it is a injector it is confined to that cylinder,and you would have a  misfire for that cylinder, high fuel pressure can cause this code,  For now follow the TSB as suspect for this fault code TSB 01-52/06. This deal with the canister purge solenoid causing  idle rich code causing P2178 and 2188

sorry does this make a difference if it a mazda 6 not mx6. and what does TSB mean.
