2003 Cadillac STS 4.6L Northstar with engine code P0106. The engine will not idle, (runs intermittently), but cuts off after a moment

This code is for the manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit performance problem

possible causes are the map sensor itself, the pcm, the wiring for the map sensor and I have seen large vacuum leaks cause this as well.
