i have a 83-1 code and a P0304 #4 misfire changed plud and coil any ideas

Question

after changing plug and coil and clearing codes after about 100miles they appeared again.could this be a ERG vale issue and my scanner on ABS 83-1 says ECM/PCM relation malfunction ???

Hi there,

I would check the car for intake manifold gasket leaks on cylinder 4. It's unlikely the EGR is causing a single cylinder misfire. It's possible there is a problem with the fuel injector as well.
