To do this you need to perform a power balance test. Without a scan too, the only approach really is to let the car idle, unplug one of the coils, if there is no change in the way the engine performs, then that coil is bad. If the engine runs rougher, then plug the coil back in and go to the next one.If you find one that doesn't affect the engine, replace it.
