How do I find what is causing the P1447 OBD code

My check engine light is on on my 98 Infiniti and I need to have the car smogged. The code is P1447. I need to know how I can find out exactly what needs to be replaced to fix the problem

The best method to diagnose this code on these cars is a smoke test. There are so many possibilities that you need to start with the smoke test, then each individual part will need to be tested to eliminate it if there is no leak in the evap system. This is kind of a catch all code.
