I replaced my CPS on my 2001 Jeep grand cherokee limited. IT runs great now, but the check engine light came on again( eventhough the engine is running fine) I pulled the code and still shows it to be P0340. What is the problem, do I need to use a DRB3 to sync. the CPS?

Hi there,

The answer is yes, you need to sync the sensors in order to get the check engine light off. Most scan tools can do this so the dealer scanner isn't required but a shop with a good scan tool is.
