P2179 2002 BMW 745i-

Question

I just had the valve cover gaskets replaced and a eccentric shaft sensor replaced. But my check engine light came on within 42 miles of leaving the auto repair shop. This code P2179 showed up when I attached the OBDII. Could you please let me know what could be the possible problem why the check engine light came on.

P2179 System too lean off idle, bank 2

Possible causes Fuel pressure, injector, intake leak,

This code came on due to a vacuum leak, This can come from the oil cap, or the oil dipstick, you have a vacuum leak,
