P0016 chevy malibu cost to fix and most likely cause.

Car ran fine went in store came out car started began to move and died. After 30 minutes started again went a few miles and died again. Will start every time but has no power or dies out. Troubleshooting code is P0016 how much will this cost to fix?

How much it cost depends on what causing the failure,You have a mechanical failure,The CKP gets it signal at the end of the crankshaft, The camsensor get its signal at the the cam gear  that is chain driven,the only component that can cause P0016 is a waterpump, or a timing chain that has slipped.
