And aslo code pops up after I drive over a certin speed. I have not had any problems starting in park.

The P1706 code is for the PNP switch. If you have an automatic transmission the switch is part of the valve body and if you have a manul transmission the switch is on the side of the transmission.2005 Nissan Xterra PNP Switch Location
