acurP1 459 HONDA - what will cause this?

96acura tl. smokes. i just did all the intake gaskets and cleaned egr passages

P1459 EVAP purge flow switch malfunction

This is a vacuum line or the purge valve switch itself, When you say it smokes, this will not cause it to smoke,It will  effect the idle quality
